It is also important to assess the moisture level in your shrubs potting mixture immediately. Keeping the root zone of the containers face is important to the survival of your shrubs.
You should plan on having your shrubs planted within 3 to 4 days of acquiring them.
When you begin to plant your shrubs, make sure that you score the sides of the hole you dig. Use your shovel to make small indents in side walls of the hole, which will allow their roots to penetrate the ground and create a stable base.
Maintaining Shrubs
To maintain your shrubs, make sure that the roots of a plant in the soil surrounding it are thoroughly hydrated, especially through its first growing season.
