Now that summer is here and the kids are out of school, it may be a good time to take a look around the house, both indoors and outdoors, for potential dangers. Since kids will be spending more time at home during the summer, they are more likely to come in contact with the vegetation you have growing in the yard. Knowing the safe plants around children can help you avoid injury or sickness.
When dealing with very young children, it is wise to keep all plants out of reach just to be on the safe side. This is especially true of plants with flowers or berries that may be attractive to small children.
