Make sure that you know the watering schedule for your plants to avoid overwatering them.
Misapply Fertilizer
Fertilizer seems like a great tool for a lush lawn, but with high temperatures, can actually burn your lawn. Making sure to use a low nitrogen / slow release fertilizer can combat this issue.
