Why A Landscaper Is Necessary
Designing your dream landscape can be one of the best experiences for a homeowner. Not only are you beautifying you space by bringing nature to your doorstep, you’re also increasing your property value.
But the work doesn’t stop once you lay the sod. The individual plants in your landscape will need frequent attention even once they are established and healthy. A landscaping company like ABC Scapes can handle this for you to free up your time, but knowing how often you need your landscaper can get a little confusing.
How Often Should My Landscaper Work
In general we recommend having your landscaper come once every week or two. Lawns usually need to be trimmed every one to two weeks to manage length and maintain good health. This is especially true in the spring, when grass tends to grow the fastest. Your landscaper may use a mower or a weed trimmer to manage your lawn’s length.
Other upkeep may only need to be done a few times per year. Fertilizing and lawn feeding can usually be done just once or twice per year while maintaining grass on routine visits. Tree trimming can usually be done semi-annually as well, though you should immediately remove any branches or fronds that present a falling risk. Landscapers are experts in spotting these branches before they pose a serious threat, and can remove branches as needed during weekly visits.
