With all aspects of your yard, regular maintenance is vital to keeping a healthy lawn staying just that: healthy. Whether it be watering your plants or maintaining the shape through a trim or a mow, it is important to care for these aspects with accurate detail. So, how often should a lawn be mowed to keep it in tip-top shape?
Things To Consider
When it comes to mowing your lawn, it is important to consider a few aspects. What kind of grass do you have? How much water does it need, and most importantly, how do you keep your grass as healthy as possible?
As a rule of thumb, we suggest lawns be mowed regularly – around every 4 to 5 days. Maintaining this schedule will allow your grass to stay thick and lush – offering the soil below a great amount of shade, which when combined with the proper amount of water, will keep the grass in pristine shape.
Regularly mowing your lawn also prevents weeds from growing, which is helpful in keeping not only your grass, but other aspects of your landscaping healthy.
